Builder Education

Residential licensed contractors in the state of Louisiana must earn a total of SIX (6) hours of continuing education units (CEUs) in order to renew their residential contractor’s license. AHBA offers these classes at no charge to builder members of the association.

Builder Education

You must register in advance for each class through the web site calendar or by calling AHBA at (337) 981-3053.
All classes are FREE for AHBA Builder Members-of-Record and the qualifying parties listed on their license.
Class size is limited. No shows will result in a fee of $25.00 unless reservation is cancelled in advance.
If you have both a residential and commercial contractor’s license, you do not have to earn any continuing education units.
Cost: FREE for AHBA Builder members and their qualifying parties!
Associate Members: You may register for a class for free, but seating is limited. If the class fills up, you may be bumped in order to accommodate builder members who need to attend the class in order to renew their license.
