These details include 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, soaring ceilings, a chef’s kitchen, butler’s pantry, breakfast room and formal dining, two master closets, a 3-car garage, and the list goes on! The Gen Group Construction manifested all of these details into real life with the craftsmanship and attention to detail that a project like this deserves. Charlie and his team made sure that the luxury touches are all accounted for, like the brick in-lays across the driveway, and Frigidaire Pro side-by-side refrigerator and freezer. However, this projected couldn’t have been brought to life without the trained eye of August Interiors. Kennedy brought to life the true feel of southern living with French blue paint, picture frame molding, custom-designed wall paper, and so many more tailored features that compliment every stunning detail. 1210 Broyles exudes classic sophistication, with a warm comfortable freshness.
Licensed contractor, Charlie Genin of The Gen Group Construction has always called Acadiana home. He attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earning a B.S. in Marketing. After working in the oilfield as a financial analyst, Charlie found his way back to ULL’s graduate school to obtain his M.B.A., and it was during this time that Charlie began building homes with business partner and father-in-law, Robert Daigle. The community feedback and market’s response for their uniquely transitional style was overwhelmingly positive and encouraged them to not only continue production of their speculative product, but also to branch out into custom home and commercial construction as well. Today, The Gen Group’s brand continues to grow in the Acadiana area and beyond, through the combination of speculative homes, custom homes, and commercial construction.
It will always be The Gen Group Construction’s mission to challenge industry standards of quality construction and customer satisfaction, and meet the growing demand of their customer’s needs.
